Ok so here's another topic that should be of interest to everybody with a body. Parasites are little bugs that get inside of everybody and live off of you, the food you eat to feed your body, and the leave their "crap" inside you which makes you sick!
So here is an age old solution for getting ride of these little nasties that like to live inside us.
Black Walnut hulls (while green) contain an chemical that absolutely kills parasites and many other things like worms, etc. It is believed by many that Cancer and many other terrible ailments of our day are a direct result of people not cleansing their bodies of the parasites that have accumulated over the years of our lives.
You see in decades past before our wonderful medical professionals people used natural remedies of many kinds. Then along came the medical folks with their patented drugs which the then sell you for hundreds of dollars a year. They don't tell people that many of their health issues are created by things that could be alleviated by the kinds of cleansing that peoples have done for all time. Of course our doctors don't know many of these solutions because the funding for their primary training comes from the pharmaceutical companies which make their money off of selling you the drugs you think you need because you feel sick.
So here you go Black Walnut hulls contain chemicals that keep other plants from growing around/under them. These same chemicals when consumed kill the bad bugs inside your body that leave their poop and pee inside you which contributes to making you sick along with the bugs them selves.
Here's an example of Discovery Channel video about parasites making people sick, note the will not mention the power and benefits of Black Walnut hulls. Parasites Eating Us Alive
Did you know that everyone, yes everyone with Cancer and Diabetes, also have parasites? So what do you suppose happens when you get rid of the parasites?

Turtle Tuff Shelters - Geodesic Domes Revistited
Here's an interesting new product that may be of interest to many of you. Remember the geodesic domes that became popular in the 60's? Well these guys took that concept and turned it into a portable, durable, long term living accommodation. So if your family where to have to evacuate your home for an extended period of time, you would be able to have a fairly strong structure to house your family in during that time.
The geodesic dome is a very strong structure, they coverings they use could probably even be replaced with other materials to help camouflage the whole thing and protect the fabric from exposure to the sun and other harsh weather conditions. The insulation option would also come in handy encase of a long term winter need. Folks like us that live where it gets very cold for many months would definitely want to take advantage of this option.
Of course don't let your imagination stop there. This same item could easily be covered with clear plastic and be turned into a very effective "Wind Resistant" green house for use anytime your not needing a home away from home. I can think of many many uses for this structure.
You can find these cool "Tents" at this link: http://www.turtletuffshelters.net/

Birch Bark Tea or Caps do they help?
I'm always looking for natural solutions to alleviate disease. I have recently come across a new/old product that is proving to be greatly beneficial to me. Birch Bark, yup the stuff they peal off of birch trees, ground up and put in a tea bag or capsule and swallowed. I learned of this from someone I know that is actually currently serving time for a mistake he made. He thought the prison was serving coffee which he had not been drinking, in reality the have been serving birch bark tea.
His good wife investigated it and found it is reputed to have several great benefits. Once he started drinking the tea himself he soon realized that some ailments he had been suffering from where leaving him, he was feeling more energetic, and healthier in general. So his wife shared her discovery with me and now I'm sharing it with you, because I am likewise feeling the benefits of taking birch bark capsules.
So here are some links for you to follow to learn more about it for your self:

Appreciated for its properties, birch tree is renowned for being a good diuretic, without forcing the kidneys. It has the capacity to produce perspiration and to help in treating rheumatism and inflammations of the urinary bladder (I'm finding this true for myself).
Birch eliminates cholesterol from the blood, and disinfects the body. It is also efficient against liver diseases, ascitis, diarrhea, constipation or intestinal parasites. Cardiac edemas, originating in circulatory insufficiency, arterial hypertension, and atherosclerosis are also treated with the help of brews based on birch. It is also recommended in treating the flu, fevers, colds and chronic sinusitis. Also in internal use, it is used for easing headaches produced by hyperzotomy, dizziness, allergies and for tonifying the nervous system.
Through diuresis, it eliminates the excess of uric acid, toxins and water from the tissues, having an important role in eliminating cellulite and obesity (under investigation). Birch leaf baths help strengthen hair roots (have yet to try this), prevent the forming of dandruff and contribute to the healing of skin irritations.
The juice squeezed out of fresh leaves is used in treating infections and inflammations of the urinary tract, renal calculosis and edemas. The birch wood coal is chewed immediately after the manifestation of intoxication (I wouldn't need to verify this myself).
Externally, it is used for treating affections of the skin - dermatitis, eczemas, and furunculous.
The bark, rich in betulin and betulinic acid is used in the pharmaceutical industry. Ripped into bands and moistened in hot water, it can be used for immobilizing articulations or fractured arms.

Is America sliding into life like the Dark Ages of long ago Euroup?
Stuff worth Learning about:
If you have some time to do some reading or listening here are some really good suggestions. I recently listened to The Story of Liberty" it's truly amazing how after listening to the story of what the dark ages where like and the bondage people where under by their governments, it's clear our country is sliding right back into the conditions of the dark ages. Go to Amazon or Audible and order this one.
The Story of Liberty: So You Will Comprehend What Liberty Has Cost, ...and What It Is Worth
Also available as an audio book from audible.com
http://www.wallbuilders.com/ WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that "the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained."I have downloaded and listened to many of their archived radio broadcasts. Every one has been very informative and worth every second. Check them out.

Free Food 2 Go Food Storage Co-op
I've been involved in emergency preparedness for a long time. I've got a long way to go to get every together that I need for my family to be as prepared as I would like to be. We have some of the camping equipment we need, some food storage, some radio communications, etc.
One area that is very very important is Food and Water storage. There is now way you are going to feel antiquity prepared with out sufficient supplies of food storage. Now my philosophy on food storage is that you need to approach it in three ways. 1.) Short term emergency food, 2.) Medium term storage food, and 3.) Long term garden storage.
So let's look at each layer 1.) Short term emergency food: This needs to be in a form that you can grab it and go. Should for any reason you find your self being evacuated (i.e. chemical spill, natural disaster, accident) or unable to buy, cook, and provide regular mills for your family for a period of time you should have a way to provide simple nutritious meals that will sustain you through the emergency. For this purpose a light freeze dried food product is best as it stores for a very long time, keeps it's nutrient value well, is light and easy to transport in large amounts should you have to be on the move. There are two good sources for this kind of food storage www.FreeFood2Go.com and Wise Co. products.
2.) Medium term food storage: Food stored in larger quantities for a longer term of need. This might be for times when you might be out of work, or a natural/economic disaster has created a situation where you will not be able to obtain fresh food from local stores for a longer period of time and you might not be able to raise any food such as during the winter. This category of food storage requires you larger stores of wheat, rice, beans, in 6 gallon buckets or 25 pound. bags etc. and staples in larger quantities like #10 cans of salt, sugar, dried fruit, vegetable protein products, or pasta, many of which you can find at such stores as Costco, Wal-mart, and specialty stores like Emergency Preparedness.
3.) Long term garden storage: This is where your in one place long enough, say your home, where you are able to have a garden space maybe some fruit trees, annual and perennial crops where possible. You should have seeds stored for a couple years worth of production as many seed sold to day are hybridized which will not reproduce from seed. If you a good gardener and by heirloom seeds you can save the seeds from this years crop for the next years garden.
There are lots of seed companies out on the internet that can provide you plenty of seeds for a sizable garden. One of my favorite see companies is Johnny's Seed Co. They can provide for even a good size market garden.
Canning your own crop is a powerful thing as you get your food at the lowest possible price, with the best possible nutrition with only the additives that you put in it canned up or bagged up and dated so you know when it came out of the garden and went to the table. I know my grand parents and parents both used to can every year to make sure they would have food on the shelf for lean times.
So how are you doing on getting your food storage started or finished up? Do you have a months supply, years supply, 2 years supply? Ok I have to confess I don't have all of mine yet ether which is why when I came across www.FreeFood2Go.com this is an organization that has brought the Co-op concept to food storage.
